The Schoenstatt Family of Austin, Texas, celebrated the Covenant of Love on October 15th at the Schoenstatt Center with songs, a Covenant Mass and a potluck dinner.

The Mass was held at 4:30 pm at the Sister's house and was celebrated by Fr. Jonathan Niehaus, who arrived in Austin a month ago to work at Texas State in San Marcos. There is a new house of the Schoenstatt Fathers in Austin with three Fathers. Father Christian Christiansen also moved recently to Austin, and he will continue visiting the Schoenstat Family in several states of the US. Father Jesus will follow. During the Homily, Fr. Jonathan thanked everyone for all the help and support from the Austin Family in setting up their new house. He also reminded everyone of the significance of the Covenant and remembered the big celebration being held the same day in Queretaro, the 25th anniversary of the Shrine there. After the holy Mass the Family renovated the Covenant of love in the place where they hope to build their Shrine, "Bethlehem, Cradle of Sanctity". After the spiritual celebration came a potluck dinner. There was a lot of joy in sharing, talking, catching up and meeting new friends.

Homily - Fr. Jonathan Niehaus. Now you may be able to hear it! Sorry...
